Licensed Professional Counselor
Mary is the owner and founder of Mind Play, LLC. She specializes in trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, severe mental illness diagnoses, personality disorders, play therapy, child and adolescent trauma recovery. Mary is also a certified EMDR Therapist, certified by EMDRIA.
Yenifer Castro, MA, Resident Counselor
Hi! I’m Yenifer Castro, a resident in counseling here at Mind Play. I am actively pursuing my counseling license. My background encompasses a diverse range of experiences, including intensive in-home services, school-based therapeutic day treatment, mental health skill-building, and therapeutic parenting services.
I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build emotional resilience, and develop skills tailored to meet your goals. Each step you take will reflect your values and worldview. Through compassionate counseling, we’ll collaborate to rediscover your inner strengths, improve your well-being, and create a fulfilling, balanced life.

Madison Witmer, Counseling Intern
Hi! I’m Madison Witmer, a counseling intern at Mind Play. I’m currently a graduate student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the College of William & Mary. I am passionate about supporting individuals through the challenges of life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized to meet your unique needs and therapeutic goals. I am interested in working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, but have a strong interest in working with individuals with ADHD and autism. I am also being supervised in play therapy to better support younger clients using their natural language of play. I look forward to working with you!
